Manure Wastewater Conversion

Livestock Energy and Water

Livestock Water and Energy facilities are fitted with award-winning filtration technology. Our unique process reduces water volume, minimizing greenhouse (GHG) gas production while creating 3 valuable resources: clean reuse water, a high value fertilizer, and carbon credits. These high-tech facilities create a healthier environment for both the animals and the workers.

We aim to retrofit agricultural facilities or build barns for the world’s top pork and dairy producers.

For producers with newer barns, we integrate the Livestock Water & Energy technology into the existing barns to accomplish the same objective (retrofit).

Our proprietary equipment and strategic processes solve the challenges of water conservation and disposal in the wastewater sludge verticals. Livestock Water & Energy builds and retrofits facilities addressing these problems resulting in the creation of additional farming revenue streams along with the creation of clean reuse water.

WE ARE EXPERTS IN MANURE WASTEWATER TREATMENT, CARBON CREDITS AND WATER CONSERVATION.

WE ARE ABSOLUTELY COMMITTED TO CREATING ADDITIONAL REVENUE STREAMS FOR FARMERS WHILE MAINTAINING A WATER CONSERVATION FOCUS.

THE PROBLEM

Manure Disposal (Fertilizer) - Traditional animal facilities utilize high volumes of liquid to address their manure management. These facilities release a massive amount of greenhouse gas emissions in the liquified manure pits beneath the animals as well as in the lagoons. Disposal of this large amount of sludge requires several square miles. This practice is a considerable expense for the farmers. Furthermore, there is a missed opportunity to create high-quality fertilizer due to this valuable nutrient-rich liquid manure being gassed off.

Environment (Carbon Credits & Water) - The current adoption of sustainability practices is slow-moving. Producers want to do the right thing, but the concept and methods of sustainability and carbon credit capture are confusing and costly, and they give up before they get started. Liquified manure management practices consume a high amount of fresh water that must constantly flush the disposal system

OUR SOLUTION

Fertilizer

Our technology and process significantly reduce manure disposal costs while creating a high-value, high-demand fertilizer.

Carbon Credits

The Livestock Water & Energy methodology reduces greenhouse gases resulting in a healthier growing environment and revenue creation from the marketing of the credits. We have validated and verified our process with globally recognized entities.

Water

The Livestock Water & Energy system separates the water from the solids, disinfects it, and recycles it back into the facility. This minimizes the total water usage and eliminates the need for disposing of the water in ponds, rivers, lakes, and water systems

SUSTAINABILITY

The Livestock Water & Energy dewatering and disinfection equipment processes manure in real-time. This system has an improved measured effect on animal health, has less impact on the local ecosystem, and enhances the environment for the people who live and work near the facilities.

Because we can reintroduce our filtered and sterilized water to the closed-loop flushing system, we can reduce odor, gas emissions, flies, and pathogens.

The Processes create valuable reuse byproducts from the Waste Sludges

Solids: A valuable dry fertilizer rich in nutrients with significant market value. This fertilizer reduces sludge haul-away footprints from barn pits and retention ponds and provides up to a 25X reduction in transportation costs (fuel, labor, vehicle).

Filtered Water: Reusable water may also be used for animal cooling, facility wash down, flushing of the pits, and even drinking water. Livestock Water & Energy facilities are not municipal waste facilities; therefore, they are not regulated by the Clean Water Act or the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).

Each Livestock Water and Energy facility avoids between 5,000-20,000+ metric tons of CO2 emissions per year, equivalent to taking 1,100-4,400 cars off the USA highways. The Total Addressable Market for just the domestic pork industry is 6,000 newly built facilities and 5,000 newly built facilities in the dairy industry.
